Mahleh the Spotted Lamb symbolize how we, the sheep of our Shepherd Jesus Christ act when He leads us down a path where it’s just you and Him. We want to do what’s right; but somehow we always fall short and do what we know is wrong; but we do it anyway. We do the things He instructs us not to do in His Word and our own hearts convicts us but still we do what we know and hate. Does this sound like someone you know? Don’t look at someone else, look at yourself.
But why? why is it that whatever we know is wrong and yet we still do it? Romans 7:14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want do this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
Look at the Lamb and see the spots on his coat. We see them clearly on this little character; but only Jesus Spirit see’s them clearly in our hearts; and only His Spirit can take away our spots and make us clean. God deal with my spots and make me clean. Wash Me O Lord with the Blood of Your Son. He has always loved you and He will never stop!
