Ties to remember:

1.I live by grace; Christ fulfills His purpose for me throughout this day.

2.When someone mistreats me, I remember to view it as an opportunity to grow in grace.

2. Keep your focus on Jesus it is His view of you that counts

3. Concentrate on relating to Him.

His ways are love and peace, which He has poured out into your heart by His Spirit.

Write your concerns and leave them at His feet: __________________________

_________________________________________________________________. Now leave it there, and Trust Him!

Trusting Christ is not an act of Him giving you your way, but accepting His way and knowing that He knows what He is doing.

Each day is a brand new day; be refreshed in His Presence and let the morning bring you word of His unfailing love, in baby steps put your trust in Him. May He show you the way you should go, as you lift up your soul to Him.

Psalm 143:10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your Good Spirit lead me on level ground.

Psalms 143, Psalm 75,

clip_image031

Lord, you are so faithful and I thank you for going before me. Jesus, you walk side by side with me, holding me by Your right Hand. You call me friend. You are my teacher. When I did not understand, you spoke to me like a little child, and word for word helped me to understand. You feed me daily in Your Word, you enjoy sweet fellowship with me, and I have even felt the warmth of Your smile upon me, showing me that no matter where I am, you are there. You, the King, the Creator of all, delights in fellowship with someone as small as I. You have comforted me through all circumstances and have given me the strength I need. You are my shield the Rock.

Thank you, Jesus, thank you. You hear me, the prayers I pray silently, and before I even finish praying you go ahead and meet my needs. You know my days and what is ahead of me. You know the direction of my steps. All I have to do is trust you. Believe in what you say, and follow you even when I can’t see. Now, my heart fills with joy and love for you! “ How precious I am to you.” Psalm 139

Proverbs 23:12

Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.

Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me your heart and let your eyes keep to my ways

Sit for a while and bask in My Presence, allowing Me to strengthen you for this day.

Don’t rush to get things done; remember I am in control! Each day is full of demands, even those that are not by Me.

All I require of you, is to walk through this day in steps of trust as I lead.

Begin each day alone with Me, as I equip you for the day’s journey.

Psalm 46:10 “Be silent, and know that I am God! clip_image032

Proverbs 1:2

The purpose of these proverbs is to teach people wisdom and discipline, and to help them understand wise sayings. 3Through these proverbs, people will receive instruction in discipline, good conduct, and doing what is right, just, and fair. 4These proverbs will make the simple-minded clever. They will give knowledge and purpose to young people.

5Let those who are wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser.

And let those who understand receive guidance 6by exploring the depth of meaning in these proverbs, parables, wise sayings, and riddles. 7Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Only fools despise wisdom and discipline.

I am a bondservant of Jesus

Quote:

My Utmost for His Highest: These words mean the breaking and collapse of my independence brought about by own hands, and the surrendering of my life to the supremacy of the Lord Jesus.

Liberate myself and my nature into oneness with God

Do not follow my own ideas

Choose absolute loyalty to Jesus

Once I am at that point, there is no possibility of misunderstanding

Decisions that I need to make: ____________________________

Now I will trust in you Lord to walk me through this day. In Jesus I pray, amen

Isaiah 2:2, Hebrews 1:2

November 6, 2005

Acts 4:2 They were very disturbed that Peter and John were claiming, on the authority of Jesus, that there is resurrection of the dead.

I believe all authority has been given to Jesus Christ, and there is resurrection of the dead through Him.

clip_image044

1. All things have been created through Him and for Him

2. It is only by God’s special favor that I have been saved!

6. He raised me from the dead along with Christ and I am seated with Him in the heavenly realms-all because I am one with Christ Jesus.

7. God can always point to me as an example of the incredible wealth of His favor and kindness, as shown in all He has done for me through Christ Jesus.

9. My salvation is not a reward for the good things I have done, so I cannot boast about it.

10. I am God’s masterpiece; He has created me anew in Christ Jesus, so that I could do the good things He planned for me long ago.

clip_image046

Strive to please God in everything, not just major decisions. God has all authority in my life and every fiber of my being.

This is possible only to the extent that I am living in close communion with Jesus. May His presence be my deepest delight. So I give this matter to you and trust that you will work this out for the good: _____________________________________________________

Father,

Creator of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them. I ask you the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give me spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that I may grow in knowledge of you. I pray that my heart be flooded with light so that I can understand the wonderful future you have promised to those you called. That I may come to a complete realization of what a rich and glorious inheritance you have given to your people.

I pray that I would begin to understand the incredible greatness of your power for us who believe Him. The same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at your right hand in the heavenly realms, where He receives honor. I believe that Jesus Christ is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else in this world or in the world to come. And that God has put all things under the authority of Christ, and gave Him this authority for the benefit of the church. And the church is His body; it is filled by Christ, who fills everything everywhere with His presence. In Jesus Name amen.

Proverbs 3:21

My child, don’t lose sight of good planning and insight. Hang on to them,

22for they fill you with life and bring you honor and respect. 22They keep you safe on your way and keep your feet from stumbling.

Ties to remember:

1. Never forget what the Lord has taught me, meditate on His word through this day.

2. Be loyal in everything I do, for it is for the Lord’s sake that I show His kindness to everyone. Even those who mistreat me.

3. Loyalty and kindness leads to favor from God and people that leads to a good reputation and gives God glory.

4. Trust in the Lord in all circumstances and seek His will in everything I do, and He will direct my paths.

Psalm 124: If the Lord had not been on our side, let Israel say

2if the Lord had not been on our side when people rose up against us, 3they would have swallowed us alive because of their burning anger against us 4The waters would have engulfed us.

I bless you Lord for your loving kindness and faithfulness in keeping me safe throughout this day.

Thank you Lord, for keeping me in peace through the circumstances that usually send me reeling in deep waters.

You walked me through in your faithfulness. You saved me from the sin of self-pity. Thank you Jesus.

Pleroma – a Greek word meaning “fullness.

In the New Testament pleroma (pleh Rauh muh) is used of two basic senses:

1. Something that fills or completes, such as a patch in Matthew 9:16 or love in Romans 13:10.

2. Fullness or the state or fact of being filled, such as the completed number of saved Gentiles (Rom. 11:25) or the “full measure” of Christ’s blessing

(Rom. 15:29, NIV).

FIRST Corinthians 10:26 (the earth’s fullness) and Galatians 4:4 (the fullness of time; Eph. 1:10) suggest God’s sovereign appointment of events in both space and time. In Romans 11:12 pleroma refers to the completion of God’s plan for the nation of Israel. The Lord Jesus Christ possesses the complete fullness of God’s divine nature and attributes. “In Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Col. 2:9).

The apostle Paul also used the phrase, “all the fullness of God” (Eph. 3:19), to show that Christ embodied the love of God. In Ephesians 4:13, “the fullness of Christ” means that state of Christian maturity in which believers are no longer “tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men”(v.14).

There are other practical implications of the idea of the fullness of Christ. Knowing that we have been made full and “complete” in Christ (Col. 2:10), as Christians we must be willing to accept whatever edifying suffering God may send to “fill up in (our) flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ”

(Col. 1:24).

For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.

Philippians 4:13

clip_image054Always be full of the joy in the Lord. I say it again-rejoice! 5 Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember the Lord is coming soon. 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. 7 If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Strong Ties of Love: Thank the Lord for all He has done

Jesus on the cross, His shed blood, He was the sacrifice for the sin of the world- “Unbelief” He made me right with God, therefore that should always bring a heart of gratitude towards the Lord.

Thank you, Jesus for: ________________________even for the trials, He knows what He is doing in you: ________________________________________________________________________________-Amen

Psalm 119:46

I will speak of Your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame, 47for I delight in your commands because I love them.

Where you Belong? clip_image058

“May God Almighty,  in all things, be Glorified through Jesus Christ”

1Peter 4:1

It seems although that sometimes God wastes His saints away according to our own viewpoint. Putting them into what seem most useless places, not at all in keeping with their gifts and “possibilities.”

Someone once said, “you use them or you lose them.” No, you lose them so God can use them. Paul says in Phillippians 3:7, I once thought all these were so very important, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. 8Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I may have Christ 9and become one with Him. I no longer count on my own goodness or my ability to obey God’s law, but I trust Christ to save me. For God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on faith. 10As a result, I can really know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead. I can learn what it means to suffer with Him, sharing in His death, 11so that, somehow, I can experience the resurrection of the dead!

Things may look promising according to your own viewpoint; and you are so sure that you are where God wants you. Only to be removed. But that only proves God right when He says, “My thoughts are completely different from yours,” “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8,9. Then you feel like an eagle that may appear to be put on hummingbird nests.

I found that deep in the pit of my soul I was just fooling myself. As if I were in a competition for some great reward. This is no competition of brilliance to demonstrate our ability. Where we can be of most “service.” To be taken out of active service may seems like a total failure in your or others’ viewpoint.

But to His glory, He will have the pre-eminence.

I suspect that much of my own praying was used as selfish ambition, and underneath it is the sneaking desires to make a mark and be recognized. For even Jesus says in John 6:38 For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me; not to do what I want. 39And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those He has given me, but that I should raise them to eternal life at the last day.

Therefore if it is my will to do what is pleasing in the sight of my Father, then I too should hold fast to the teachings of Christ. Not using the divine sanction to “put myself across” John 7:16-18 So Jesus told them, “I’m not teaching my own ideas, but those of God who sent me. 17Anyone who wants to do the will of God will know whether My teaching is from God or is merely My own. 18 Those who present their own ideas are looking for praise for themselves but those who seek to honor the One who sent them are good and genuine. Mark 4:24 Then He added, “Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given-and you will receive even more. 25To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given.

To simply drop all my dreams and ambitions and preferences and have no mind about it at all; but to be willing to let God shift me anywhere on life’s checkerboard, or bury me anywhere in life’s garden. Not counting my life as dear and not loving it unto death, but gladly yielding “myself” for God to please “Himself” with anywhere and anyway He chooses.

It doesn’t matter whether “appreciation” or “recognition” or just simply being “used” is important to God as I may think He should’ But is God glorifying Himself in me?

So what is the conclusion? Where do I belong? In the Hands of the Potter!

1Peter 4:11, Philippians 3:7-11 Is.55:8-9 John 6:38-30, Mark 4:24 John 7:16-18 Is.45 some quotes from the book: Consider Him by Vance Havner

Parable of the Growing Seed

Mark 4:26 Jesus also said, “The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground. 27Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. 28The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens. 29And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come.

Proverbs 11:5

Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.

Lord, truly your ways are a mystery and if I had great knowledge in the end I would come to the knowledge of zip! Writing books would be endless and I have found that trying to understand the activities of God wear out my brain and I am more confused than ever. Eccl.12: 13 that’s the whole story. Here is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey His commands, for this is everyone’s duty. So just as I walk daily with Christ putting my trust in Him, I only need to know one thing, “He knows’ what He is doing” Thank you God for guiding me in everything.

Through Christ Jesus, amen

clip_image062Building on a Solid Foundation

Matthew 7:24 Anyone who listens to My teaching and obeys Me is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse, because it is built on the Rock!

Ties to remember:

1. I am the house Jesus is talking about, and He is the Rock!

2. I am Built on God and am grounded in Him.

3. I strive to trust in Jesus in all areas of my life.

4. I embrace challenges, and am eager to gain all the blessings He has hidden in my difficulties.

Father, I believe that You are Sovereign in all my situations. I  except things exactly as they are. In the midst of my daily storms, Lord, I seek your face, and believe that You are walking me through. Thank you Lord for not leaving me nor forsaking me because I trust in Your Son Jesus Christ, amen. Psalm 2

The difficulties I faced today: ________________________were still victories through Christ.
