Sowing in the Day’s Journey
As you come down from your mountaintop experience, remember that moment is only for inspiration and tranformation. We must come down into the valley; to the demon possessed valley where there is darkness. If the light shines in the light, then how can you see the light. It is like gazing at the sun. You only blind yourselve with your own image, and those around you, who are in the dark do not see the True Light, who is Jesus Christ in you.
Hebrews 6:7-9 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed recieves the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned. 9Even though we speak like this dear friends, we are confident of better things in your case-things that accompany salvation.
1Peter 4:10 Each one should use whatever gift he has recieved to serve others, faithfully andministering God’s grace in its various forms.
I am a cleaning lady, "Maid" that was nicknamed to me when i was still crawling around the house undoing what my mother worked so hard to do. She cleaned the house, i followed and messed it all up! So they called me Maid. I do admit though that i hated that nickname for a long time; but one day Jesus told me that He too, was in the cleaning business, and if i would only see the work He does in my heart and how through my changed heart; he has drawn people to Himself. For a long time i was very unhappy with my lot. I wanted a new job, something different than housecleaning. I have been cleaning houses for twenty years, not counting cleaning my own house. I became bitter on the job and this produced thorns and thistles!
I journal so you probably know this by now. So in my journal dated 12/13/07, this is what the Lord showed me in His Word. This was a place that I needed to surrender to God, because I was tired of walking down Thistle Lane, through the path of thornbushes!
Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work-this is a gift from God. 20 He seldom reflects on the days of his life, because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.
This word from the Lord set me free from wondering, "Did i miss my call?" No, I didn’t miss the call, this is where God has placed me; and from that day on I do see the crop of love bursting into the hearts of the people the Lord has placed in my path.
Yesterday, on New Years Eve, Jess and i spent time with my parents, and what has been so amazing to Jess and i are that my parents are alive again! It has been 10yrs. since my mother celebrated all the holiday’s with her children and these past holidays, we have seen joy and laughter in them again. They did not change to make things better for me, and i am still a cleaning lady. The only difference is that God has placed the seed of love in my heart, a spirit of gratitude and He occopies my heart with gladness. When other people see this in me, they see the Light of Christ, and they too, are filled with the joy of the Lord as they are being brought into His Glorious Light.
